WUNDER WHO? MEANINGFUL AND ENGAGED BRAND ACTIVATION

Wunder is a global performance marketing channel with offices in New York, Sydney, London and, since 2022, Amsterdam, among others. With Wunder, marketers take back control and approach customers faster than ever by increasing performance of owned media. Worldwide, Wunder realizes additional revenue growth for more than 700 major e-commerce by recognizing 2-3 times more anonymous web traffic than traditional performance marketing channels. Gradient created a brand activation campaign for Wunderkind to raise awareness of this American frontrunner among the Dutch target audience.

Approach

Wunder aims to grow into an established name among Dutch e-commerce apparel and retail brands within a year. To increase awareness among a selected target audience, Gradient is developing an eye-catching, attractive and playful brand activation: ‘Wunder Who’. Sending an anonymous and personalized “gift” to marketing managers. This luxurious gift box – in Wunder’s corporate style – containing a golden ticket is the key to unlocking new growth. Scanning a QR code leads the recipient to a specially developed landing page, which explains in text and images how marketers unlock additional revenue growth with Wunder.

Result

The first campaign KPI was amply achieved: 75% of the carefully selected target audience found their way to the Wunder Who campaign landing page via a personalized QR code. This led to a 30% response rate in the first phase of brand activation. In numbers: ten customer calls and double the number of contact moments with potential customers.

From initial contacts with Sales Qualified leads (SQLs), Wunder has identified several Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) – still counting and pending! In addition, as a direct result of the campaign, 13 whitepaper downloads took place and 5 visitors requested a Wunder demo.
